Peace in the Rising Fog
After a run along the river, Shannon returned to her car to walk and cool off. The soft early morning light, the rising fog from the cold river and the heavy dew on a nearby grapevine presented an irresistible photographic opportunity. She grabbed her camera and this is the result. The composition allows the various elements, from the foreground, the river, the mountain road and the vanishing hills to flow into a coherent, peaceful morning scene. The scene is located on Daniel Hartzog Ford Rd just off Hwy 16.

Shannon, I love the depth in this photo. The fact that it is black and white adds to the mystery. Beautiful! Great photo.
This is intriguing as B&W…I like it.
Beautiful Shannon! I love the sharp focus andtexture of the leaves in the forground and the mistyness in the background. Really pretty! Good job!
